The programme offers a unique opportunity to develop new skills, collaborate with international partners, and contribute to strengthening women's leadership in sport. As part of the call, five coaches from Bosnia and Herzegovina will be selected to become members of the national WELEAD team. Participants will take part in a blended learning programme consisting of 20 hours of online training followed by an international workshop in Rome, Italy, from 27–29 January 2027. After completing the training, participants will implement local WELEAD activities between December 2026 and July 2027, applying the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme.

The programme is open to coaches and other sport professionals with experience or a strong interest in coaching, grassroots sport, leadership, gender equality, or community engagement. Applicants should have a good command of English, be available to participate in the full programme, and be committed to contributing to the project's objectives.

Selected participants will not only attend the training but will also play an active role as local facilitators. They will support the implementation of the WELEAD programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina by transferring knowledge, mentoring participants, facilitating practical learning activities, supporting work-based learning in local sport clubs, contributing to the organisation of community sport events, and participating in the evaluation of project activities.

The programme provides participants with comprehensive training materials, continuous mentoring and coordination support, opportunities for international exchange and networking, and recognition of the competences acquired throughout the project.

1. an updated CV;
2. a short motivation letter explaining why they wish to join the WELEAD project and how they can contribute;
3. a brief description of their relevant experience in sport, coaching, leadership, gender equality, youth work, or community engagement.

About WELEAD

WELEAD – WomEn LEADership in Sport is an Erasmus+ Sport Capacity Building project implemented by partners from Italy, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Running from January 2026 to December 2027, the project aims to strengthen the capacity of local sport organisations to increase women's participation in leadership and decision-making roles.

Through coach education, practical learning opportunities for women, work-based learning activities, and community sport events, WELEAD connects skills development with real opportunities for women to lead, organise, and shape sport within their communities.
