Project partners gathered in Vienna at the House of Sports to continue working together towards strengthening women's leadership in sport. The meeting was opened by Wolfgang Burghardt, Secretary General of CSIT, who welcomed all partners and highlighted the importance of European cooperation, leadership, and inclusion in sport. WELEAD promotes collaboration between EU Programme countries (Italy and Austria) and non-associated countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro), supporting the exchange of knowledge and good practices to foster gender equality in sport leadership across different national contexts.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, align on the next project milestones, and further develop our joint activities. Through productive discussions, strong cooperation, and shared commitment, the partners continue working towards empowering women in sport across Europe.
