ActiveYouth4Life multiplier event

The multiplier event of the Erasmus+ project "Active Citizenship for Youths by Enhancing LIFECOMP Competencies through Innovative Teaching Tools and Techniques" - ActiveYouth4Life was held on November 14, 2023, at the premises of Europe House Sarajevo. The primary objective of the conference was to showcase the two-year project conducted between 2021 and 2023, in collaboration with a consortium comprising partners from Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

With an opening remark by the moderator, Prof. Dr. Dino Mujkić, the multiplier event of the ActiveYouth4Life project commenced, emphasizing the importance of this initiative and ensuring its continuous implementation in the future. In the introductory part, the Assistant Minister for Youth, Dr. Mersiha Kolčaković, delivered a speech to share relevant perspectives, initiatives, and strategies of the Ministry regarding the project's focus.

Following the introductory segment, the project, its specific objectives, and activities were presented, along with the showcasing of two short films created within the ActiveYouth4Life R2 Piloting activities in collaboration with students from the Helen O’Grady Academy in Sarajevo. Utilizing film production, a training manual aimed at raising awareness among young people about climate change and sustainability development was developed.

After introducing the project's subject matter, an interactive panel commenced with eminent panelists: Prof. Dr. Sanela Klarić, the General Director of the Youth Development Center PRONI, Jasmin Jašarević, a Master of Mechanical Engineering and an environmental expert, Denis Fontana and Emira Pašanović, a student of the Law and Philosophy Faculty at the University of Sarajevo. The panelists took this opportunity to address the panel participants, sharing their personal experiences, opinions, and advice, thereby stimulating discussions among the participants. Attendees had the opportunity to share the challenges they face, propose innovative solutions, and learn many new and interesting facts from our panelists. Through intensive discussion and active audience participation, conclusions were drawn to enhance our understanding of the key issues ahead, enabling collaborative efforts to shape our future solutions.
