PROJECT

SMOC SMART WEB

This project would start the first phase of research, collecting documentary material and creating conditions for archiving the collected materials that would be available to the public. With this project, we also want to continue presenting new cultural and tourist attractions of the city of Sarajevo and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project called SMOC SMART WEB INFO is the expected continuation of all activities. The number of guests visiting Sarajevo during one year is more than 200,000, and it is recorded that the interest of foreign visitors to the capital is growing year after year. Taking into account the contemporary trends in the development of tourism, the SEE2020 strategy and the Ljubljana process II, our goal is to present the wealth of anthropogenic value of the city of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina to local, national and foreign bodies through an upgraded and modernized web portal. Setting up a web info camera at the sign "Sarajevo Meeting Of Cultures" will enable live stream transmission of this space in the city of Sarajevo, which will be visible and accessible to the public at all time through the web portal of the organization. In addition to setting up a SMOC SMART Web info camera, the implementation of this project envisages the creation of a bilingual online database (B/C/S and English language) of relevant and credible documentary materials from the entire Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus contribute to the competitiveness of the tourist industry by pointing to the continuous protection and promotion of cultural resources in the country. Collecting documentation will be the basis for creating educational content for visitors.
