Recognition of Talented Children – TALENT Training Program

The TALENT project offers an innovative approach to supporting young athletes who want to successfully combine a sports career with education. As a result of collaboration among seven European countries, the project's aim is to create a comprehensive system for the identification and development of sports talents.

Support, selection, and proper guidance of children toward the appropriate sport is one of the most important and challenging issues facing experts. Proper guidance enhances athletes' effectiveness, enabling them to effectively harness their potential in kinesiology activities that align with their anthropological specifics. The TALENT project focuses on establishing standards for recognizing sports talents, raising awareness about talents, and expanding the concept of dual careers for talented children aged 12 to 16.

In the coming period, Sarajevo susret kultura, in collaboration with the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at the University of Sarajevo, plans to organize a series of training sessions for teachers and coaches as part of the project activities. The TALENT Pilot Program includes the development of educational materials for teachers and coaches in the STEM field, focusing on identifying and supporting talented students. The program is structured into four modules, with a total of 30 hours of theoretical and practical training:

Program je strukturiran u četiri modula, s ukupno 30 sati teorijske i praktične obuke:

  • Module I: Introduction to talent and TALENT project
