The EPIC Project consortium is developing a training program for Social Enterprises

In an exciting development for the EPIC project, consortium partners are collaborating under the guidance of KMOP to create a comprehensive Training Programme focused on Social Enterprises. This initiative aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the dynamic landscape of social entrepreneurship. The Training Programme will feature a well-structured Curriculum, supplemented by essential reading materials and resources, as well as assessment tools. This multifaceted approach ensures that learners receive a thorough understanding of social entrepreneurship, including its viability and impactful practices. According to the preliminary research and findings, the Curriculum will encompass the following modules, with potential adjustments to the training programme framework:

  1. Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship – Current trends and applications
  2. The EntreComp Framework
  3. Linking Social Work/Initiatives and Entrepreneurship
  4. Social Entrepreneurship Skills
  5. Social Business Model and Planning for Social Innovation
  6. Identifying Social Entrepreneurship Opportunities

As the project progresses, the consortium is committed to refining the Curriculum to reflect the latest insights and findings in the field, ensuring that participants are well-prepared to make a significant impact in their communities.

As part of this training program, youth trainers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo will participate in a five-day training session in Athens in the spring of 2025.
