CULTURWB: SMOC continues to conduct a survey at cultural institutions in Konjic
The continuation of the envisaged activities within the implementation of the Erasmus+ CULTURWB project took representatives of Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures to visit cultural institutions in Konjic. During their stay in Konjic, representatives of Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures had the opportunity to visit the Konjic Museum with the aim of presenting the project, project activities and goals, as well as conducting a questionnaire on gaps in skills and competences in culture and tourism.
At the meeting held at the Museum, the staff of the organization had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Muhamed Krnjic, an employee of this cultural institution who made it possible to visit the museum and share the history of its creation as well as the importance of museum exhibits, and gave an insight into the organizational content and activities that the Museum conducts. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Benjamin Musinovic, representative of the National University and the Konjic Center for Culture. Representatives of the aforementioned cultural institutions expressed a great interest in establishing, in addition to their desire to participate in the CULTURWB project research activities, the LLL and MA program, a form of cooperation with the Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures.
The expected results of the CULTURWB project are the development of new lifelong learning (LLL) programs and a new master academic study program that aims to build competencies for quality management within cultural institutions, cultural heritage management, events management inside and outside institutions, and development processes within cultural tourism. In this complex process, collaboration with cultural and tourism stakeholders is indispensable. The CULTURWB project is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
