EACEA – Capacity Building for Higher Education Project Representatives Meeting A Capacity Building for Higher Education Project Representatives Meeting organized by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency was held in Brussels January 25-26, 2017. The two-day event was attended by Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures staff as partner representatives of Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE action “Strengthening Capacities for Tourism Changes in WB – Building Competences for Quality Management of Heritage and Cultural Tourism –CULTURWB” project and Erasmus+ CBHE “Development and Integration of Social Dimension Strategies in Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina through Cross-regional Peer-learning – INCLUSION project. Although dynamic, the conference Agenda provided sufficient time for participating representatives of 147 projects approved for funding in 2016 to meet, exchange ideas and pursue cooperation in a variety of Higher Education development projects. IDEAS+ 2017 - Brussels Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures staff attended the 15th IDEAS+ workshop organized by CESIE in Brussels January 19-20, 2017. The event gathered representatives from over sixty institutions that work in the field of Education, Training, Youth and Sport in Europe. The CESIE partner network grows by the year, and each year the event provides an opportunity for participating actors to engage in sharing of ideas, experiences and knowledge. Aside from the presentations about Erasmus+ KA2, KA3, Sport, and AMIF, other EU funded programmes such as Creative Europe and Interreg MED were discussed among the participating partners in order to explore different funding opportunities and potential partnership developments. INCLUSION, Sarajevo

INCLUSION – BiH partner meeting in Sarajevo BiH partners of the INCLUSION project held a coordination meeting in Sarajevo on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. On this occasion, representatives from the University of Tuzla, University of Travnik and Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures discussed a range of task responsibilities to be completed within WP1. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss in detail the fact finding tools, literature reviews and overall outline of the moodle platform that raised significant points for further project implementation. Collection of sources and documents for literature review are an important prerequisite for conducting the foreseen survey research at both BiH HEI, as well as for quality data analysis. Reports on fact-finding phase for Armenia and BiH shall be completed by 31.07.2017. at which point WP1 is finalized and the consortium could forge ahead with further WPs.

The kick-off meeting of Erasmus+ INCLUSION took place in Yerevan December 1-2, 2016 during which the three-year project implementation was officially launched. The meeting was held at the premises of the American University in Armenia and gathered representatives from the fourteen members of the project consortium. The project aims to enhance the capacity of stakeholders on the field of Higher Education in Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in contributing to the implementation of social dimension (SD) strategies through capitalizing on knowledge transfer and cross-regional cooperation. The outputs and outcomes of the project include national level guidelines on development and operationalization of SD strategies; institutional level master plans and mechanisms to implement SD strategies; capacity building of HEIs and respective government authorities for the  operationalization of SD strategies; development of resources for inclusive teaching and learning as well as capacity building materials to raise awareness of high school pupils and teachers [...]
